Welcome to Fort McInroe, Margaret McInroe ArtssummitTx home studios in Temple TX. The renovation is almost complete and is ready for project New USO #NewUSO. The home was built in 1950 and was originally a masons lodge. The new renovation included a new roof, solar panels,, new windows, doors and more. This will be my third home studio renovation in Texas starting in 1997-2003 with a Lockhart TX home built in 1902 at 102 Brazos St. I renovated the 1938 Austin home at 1406 Summit 2003-2011 where Artssummit.com was created, and the studio along with the patio roof was designed and all of the custom cabinetry and furniture waa fabricated by Derick Royal in Lockhart TX and Green Design in Austin. Some of the McInroe archives and furnishings at the Temple studio had been in storage since 2011 traveled with me to Miami FL 2011-2021 then to my small Manhattan apartment 2020-2024 and Jersey City studio in 2021- 2022 Temple TX is a good location to grow and expand because of it’s proximity to my family in Austin and Dallas also close to Fort Hood Army base and many Texas Universities and acres of farm land as well as a mostly friendly community.The downtown area has undergone a well needed renovation and renewal of the Arcadia Theater, Railroad Museums and public parks.
