Converging sides of intent, CSI

Year: 1997

An architectural open ended structure consisting of 30 connecting aluminum panels etched and perforated with drill point then printed through the intaglio process. The surface was suggestive of pearl like water droplets and light filtering through the perforations created streams of bubbles, which relate to the intaglio printing process. The installation included etchings of the plans and a photogram of a beeswax and aluminum “art star” sculpture.
